Canyon

Last Sunday Jen and Kyle invited us to go for a drive up the canyon for a picnic. We went through Parley's a little ways and found a park near a golf course just off the freeway. It was so green and pretty. We saw a few deer and some chipmunks. We just happened to pick a spot to eat right under an apple tree. Apples would fall of every once in a while and the bees were attracted to them so they were near us too. Poor Tyler got a ton of little mosquito bites on his face. He was fine and eating next thing we knew his face was all red and blotchy. They took him to the doctor on Monday because it wasn't any better and they said it'd probably be gone in the morning, but by that night or Tuesday morning his face was so swollen that he didn't even look like the same kid. Poor guy.. we felt so bad. I don't think anyone else got bitten. Other than that we had a lot of fun just enjoying the outdoors before it gets too cold to do so.

Kyle was shaking all the apples off the tree on to Phil. The kids of course thought it was hilarious!! So then Phil had to do it back to Kyle. I don't think there were many more left on the tree.

They were throwing everything they could find into the little stream sticks, HUGE rocks, whatever they could. Splashing all of us. Bridger was soaked!
