A good friend of Phil's, Brian, was getting married in Idaho. We decided to surprise him and show up for his reception. The joke was on us! We had a heck of a time getting out the door that morning between getting the oil changed, Phil renewing his license, loading up, feeding Boston, and him pooping all over the two of us!! That is why we didn't get as much time at the Children's Museum as we would have liked. We got to our hotel to change really quick and then headed to the reception that we thought was in Rexburg and it ended up being in Idaho Falls!!! We got there too late and missed the newlyweds. We were able to talk to his parents for a little bit though. The next day we got a phone call from Brian asking if we were in town. We were surprised to hear from him and the fact that they wanted to come say hi to us before the headed back to Provo. We figured that he probably just heard from his parents that we were there, but that's not what happened. His wife just happened to be looking through the guest book and was asking Brian who "Phil and family" was. He thought there was no way we had come but we did! We decided it was better this way, because now we actually got to talk to them for about 20 minutes instead of just saying congrats at the reception. The trip was a lot of fun. The boys both did very well in the car on the way up and back. We of course went swimming at the hotel. We took Bridger bowling for the first time and he enjoyed it for the first 30 minutes, but then he got bored and just wanted to pretend to drive on one of the arcade games (which didn't work). Sorry, the only pictures we have to that are on my phone since we couldn't find our camera at the time. The day we went home we let Bridger play at the park for a little while. We also went to the falls and to see the Idaho Falls temple. We were very great full for a little break!
