If I put a toy in his hand he will hold it for a long time.. I don't know if he's exactly playing with it, but at least he'll hold on to it for a while. I try to show him how it shakes but it mostly just startles him instead making him laugh or something.

I think he might have jsut been trying to find his thumb..
