I wish we could have been in Texas for Christmas this year, but it jsut wasn't able to happen. I'm sad I missed out on everything, but we still a good Christmas here.Well our plans got thrown off a little Christmas morning. Since it was a Sunday we had church at 11:00 and thought we'd get up and ready before Bridger woke up. Well.. before we even made it out of bed we got a phone cal from DREW!! We were so excited to hear from him. We talked to him for about 2 hours! He sounded really good and we can't believe he's already just about to his one year mark on his mission. He made me feel a little guilty when he said that Dianna writes him more than me. So thanks!! Now not only our a letters not as decorated as yours, but I don't write as much as you. Way to raise the bar!! Lol. Towards the end of or conversation with him Bridger woke up, and even though he can say "Dew" of course he is phone fright and wouldn't say it.
So we finally got to bring Bridger out to see what Santa brought him and he was so excited! Or maybe I should say surprised of all the new toys. His favorite thing were his little yellow digger and dump truck. He played with them all morning long. We love the safe from Grandma and Grandaddy Boyer!! (that picture disappeared from our camera).
He even had to bring his trucks with him for breakfast and was loading and unloading his fork.
Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa Nieves' house to open more presents, talk to Drew, and hang out with the family. It gets a little chaotic with all of us, but it's so much fun to have everyone together.
| The kids were all dancing! They loved it. Bridger was laughing so hard he could barely stand up. |
| Braxton and Tyler always like to wrestle with Bridger and have him blow on there tummy's. Kade decided to join in on the fun too. |
We got a new camera and a steamer!! YAY!!
We decided to stay the night at Grandma and Grandpa's and Kelly and Lindsey stayed too. After everyone left we just stayed up at talked till about 1:00 AM. It was fun since we don't see them to often. It was a good Christmas day!
