Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve it's tradition in Phil's family to go out to eat at Sizzler and then go home and do a little family home evening lesson. So we all met up at Sizzler at about 5 and had a very good dinner. The food was great! Then we headed to the Gardners' home. We tried to act out the nativity.. but the only kids that could actually help out were Braxton and Ty. Savannah had fun trying on the costumes and Bridger was to busy play with there Mickey Mouse train to care. Kyle and Jen were Joesph and Mary, Braxton was a Shepard, Tyler was a sheep, Phil was a wise men and I was a "wise women", Tracy was an angel, and Cliff read the story, and played the donkey. It was kinda hectic, but we made it through. Then we watched the Nativity movie which is always very moving, but by this time Bridger was moving around like crazy trying to keep himself awake so it was a little bit harder to enjoy.

We couldn't keep them off the table. They just wanted to jump off of it.

The mickey train he had all night!! He was so upset to leave it behind.

Nanna dressing up. She's such  a little girl! She had to go look in the mirror.

Nanna had been playing peek a boo with me by putting the pillow on my head so, my hair is a little messy. O well..

O ya.. we tried to make him the soldier, but it didn't last.

We drove around a little to look at Christmas lights on our way home. Bridger still loved them and kept saying wow pretty! When we got home We all got to open our PJ's and read Bridger's Christmas story. Then we put some cookies on a plate for Santa. Then it was time for him to go to bed.

For us on the other hand we finished wrapping presents for Bridger, and made the yummy potatoes for Christmas Day. It was a long day, but lots of fun!!
